Item Description
Lot of three high relief thin Vacuform plastic Halloween masks, ranging in size from 8.75x9.5" to 8.5x10"; two depict Mr. Kotter from the hit '70s TV show "Welcome Back, Kotter" while third depicts Barbarino. Collegeville, 1976. One Mr. Kotter mask has been completely hand-painted, and features blue highlights to hair and more pronounced facial accents that were not seen on production Kotter masks (like the included production sample), which featured brown hair accents. Mask is marked "Original" in blue ink on inside, Collegeville's way of identifying it as a unique prototype. Exc. Production sample has some aging around eyes, .25 crack at left by hair and some lt. dust soiling. VF. Barbarino mask is also completely hand-painted, and also features painted eyes w/double slits. Mask is marked "Original" in blue ink on inside, Collegeville's way of identifying it as a unique prototype. Some scattered paint wear as well as a few tiny scattered edge cracks. Fine/VF overall. From the Collegeville Archives (see other Collegeville items throughout the auction).
