Item Description
We've seen two examples of this design without any text and three examples with store names. This is only the second example seen with the text "Meet Me At Abele's Store." Button features humorous depiction of Santa's red pants, legs and boots sticking out and up from a red brick chimney with a yellow moon face positioned between his boots against a nighttime sky. Complete with reverse back paper by Keystone Badge, Reading, PA with design used c. 1915. Back paper has three penciled initials. Cello surface remains Exc. and button displays basically Mint as made. All examples without stain have exceeded $400. Rare.
