Item Description
Pair of high relief thin Vacuform plastic Halloween masks, Doctor Dolittle mask measures 7x10.75" while Pushmi-Pullyu the two-headed llama (one of the more bizarre costumes Collegeville ever made) measures 8x10". Collegeville, 1966. Both have been completely hand-painted and both are marked "Original" in black marker on inside, Collegeville's way of identifying them as unique prototypes. Some scattered paint wear/scuffs and a few tiny edge cracks to Doctor Dolittle mask. Pushmi-Pullyu mask is evenly aged and shows some lt. wear. Both are Fine/VF overall. The Doctor Dolittle mask was eventually made as a half mask, as seen in the included Size Large (12-14) boxed costume. Box is evenly aged w/moderate dust soiling to window. Fine/VF. Mask is Exc. Costume has obvious aging to legs and is VG/Fine. From the Collegeville Archives (see other Collegeville items throughout the auction).
