Item Description
11x21.5x6.5" deep colorful box contains set for use with Mego 8" superhero action figures. ©1976 National Periodical Publications Inc. Large vinyl-covered cardboard set includes "Translocation Chamber, Dial-A-Disaster Console, Conference Table And Maps." One side of box has a photo of the playset with child using it while opposite side features illustrations by Neal Adams of Superman, Wonder Woman and Aquaman. Box ends, originally sealed with packing tape, have opened as tape aged. Box shows moderate overall wear with a few creases to end panels w/edge tear halfway down on one flap. Original Montgomery Ward sticker on one panel. Still displays Fine. Playset itself has continued Adams' illustrations on back of playset featuring Green Arrow, Green Lantern, Supergirl and Batman. Intricate playset has revolving dial monitor that shows villains Lex Luthor, The Penguin, The Riddler, The Joker, Catwoman and Mr. Mxyzptlk. Sliding chamber door/monitor screen. Includes Justice League table and vinyl header. Playset displays Exc.
