Item Description
5.5x8.5" program w/eight pages. Issued for the Kingsbury, United Kingdom Stoll Picture Theatre in 1933. "King Kong" content includes mention about theater debut the following week and back cover features showing information. Centerfold features great two-page spread devoted to Kong, w/classic promotional image of Kong towering over New York w/Fay Wray in hand at center. Additional images include photos of the cast (including solo image of Wray), photo of chained Kong on display and art image of Kong "Tearing The Garments Off his Captive." Large central staple has some oxidation w/trace staining at center. Program is o/w VF. Issues w/Kong content were issued in 1935, but this is from original release year. Scarce piece for the Kong collector.
