Item Description
13x16.5x2.5" deep window display box contains deluxe set by Ideal, ©1968. Set contains Dr. Evil, the "Arch Enemy Of Action Boy And Captain Action." In addition to the 11.5" tall poseable figure of Dr. Evil dressed in synthetic fabric jacket/pants, figure is complete w/separate sandals and medallion. Exc. Additionally, set includes "Laser Gun, Reducer, Thought Sensor" helmet, "Dr. Thorpe Disguise, Dr. Ling Disguise" (which is placed on added head mold, making for nice display), "Lab Coat, Dessicator" and "Hypnotic Eye" accessories/costumes. All is complete and original including lid window and box insert, but accessory pieces have been very neatly reattached w/purple thread and aged tape on back. All displays as issued. Laser Gun and Thought Sensor show lt. wear to paint, o/w rest is Exc. Box lid shows edge/corner tip wear and has tape repair side that extends to upper front window and has a tear on top at edge of same window. A few loose spots on window with some soiling to window also. Box is o/w free of splits and displays Fine/VF. One of the rarest and most sought after of all Captain Action items. Also includes an extra Dr. Evil figure in outfit with sandals. Exc. in a Captain Action box with moderate aging/wear including overall wear with some loss of litho on face of lid. Also comes with a mini catalog. Displays Good.
