Item Description
Envelope is 2.5 x 4-5/16" for Philadelphia event at "Convention Hall Shriner's Night April 10th, 1913" with tiny text "Coins Made By Uncle Sam/Mfg'd by M. Gerber, Philad'a". Lower left corner has 1" and .5" tears plus 2" separation on left bottom edge but no loss of paper. Some light penciling on blank reverse. Envelope pictures the button and is VG. 7/8" real photo button is pinned to apparent original card which has four staple holes. Button has Gerber back paper, spring pin holding short ribbon which joins to loop on a brass ring holding a close to uncirculated 1913 Type I Indian Head/Buffalo Nickel. Button is Mint. Our button only example in Auction 225 realized $292.00 and led to this consigned complete as issued example, the only complete example known to us.
