Item Description
Sizes 2- 2.25". All items c. 1930s-1940s. The first three are employee badges with second and third including serial numbers. Some black off the lettering of the one with enamel state seal. Next two both include "Police" with one having brass rim and other silvered rim. Next with enamel is for "Safety Committee" and followed by "Stretcher Squad" missing green paint from center. Last are WWII ship launch buttons. First for "Ship's Officer" names "Tasker H. Bliss" which was a ship converted to Navy transport in 1942 and then the victim of a German submarine torpedo off Casablanca 11/12/1942. Tiny dots of gold off background. Last for "Ship's Crew" is a launch button, undated but from June 2, 1945, for the cargo ship "Goucher Victory". All scarce to rare and VF to NM.
