Item Description
17x20.5" framed w/10.75x14" opening. Listed as plate 799 on page 324 in Threads Of History. Featuring portraits of William Penn, Benjamin Franklin, and McKinley around a bird's eye view of the Commercial Museum. Frame has obvious wear along edges and scattered chips in textured surface. Silk has light brown age toning along left side and horizontal band affecting Franklin portrait. Otherwise moderate even age toning. Fine. An attractive piece produced to promote the Expo that attracted two million visitors.
