Item Description
5.5" long overall w/bowl of pipe being carved wood and stem being hard rubber. c. 1890. Totally unmarked, but appears to be a production piece. Nice quality and great detail, pipe bowl captures The Yellow Kid's buck-toothed grin and collar is nicely detailed w/button. Bowl shows some scorching to interior from use as designed and exterior of bowl has darkened. Some small chips to edge of bowl rim. Fine/VF overall. Rare.
