Item Description
2.25" with no maker's name featuring real photo without dot screen. Scattered silvering loss but over 90% intact. Side edge has 1/16" wide by 3/8" long smooth sliver of missing cello. This European styled spa was the height of elegance when it opened Jan. 1, 1912. This risque mirror shows photo of a two panel cartoon. Top panel has sign post "The Maurice Spring" with caption "The Arrival At Hot Springs". Shown is a skinny donkey with flaccid penis hanging down as donkey drinks from spout of a watering can. Second scene is titled "The Departure" and a now fattened, energetic donkey using his erect penis to carry off the water can. Very light cello wear. Fine. First seen.
