Item Description
9.75" long. Brass shell hanger at top frames a cello portrait of Cleveland flanked by fabric inserts reading "Governing Committee." Hanger suspends a two layered ribbon featuring crossed American flags. Three horizontal separations; one hidden by the metallic fringe, affecting the "De" in "Democratic" that is stabilized w/archival tape on reverse and affecting the "C" in "Club." Fine. Cortland, NY had just over 8,500 residents in 1890. A scarce badge w/extremely limited distribution.
