Titled "Decency Of The Whigs!" w/a story accusing members of a Philadelphia Whig rally of desecrating American flags owned by a rival Democratic group and the beating of men and women associated w/the Democrats. Signed in print at conclusion "A Democrat Of Kingsessing" and dated "Sept. 13th 1844." Vertical and horizontal folds, damp staining throughout and wear including tiny holes, small edge losses and short horizontal edge tears. Just VG. An amazing survivor and a riveting look at the state of political affairs in the 1840s.
