Item Description
This 27-1/8x41" poster was issued in two different ways in 1977. One poster was a regular teaser poster, w/black bkg. and metallic silver "Coming To Your Galaxy This Summer" text/borders. The other version features same design, except the "W" in "Star Wars" has points at the bottom, which is only seen in very early promotional material. This poster was printed on a foil-coated paper w/the black printed on top of the foil. This auction is for the non-foil, flat bottom "W" style version. Originally folded, poster has been linen-mounted and has had some scattered restoration along fold lines and at fold crease intersections. This includes some airbrushing to margins (w/repair to 1" tear at lower left) and margin fold lines. Some touch-ups/airbrushing to pin holes at corners. As linen-mounted, poster now displays VF and would look great framed.
