Item Description
Unused 8.5x11" sheet w/letterhead design that includes full figure image of Superman at top right w/"S" symbol at bottom center along w/participating sponsors - "Superman Inc., Journal American and WOR Radio 710- Leader Novelty." Some lt. handling wear and .5" sliver of faint moisture staining at top center margin but o/w Exc. Comes w/3-5/8x5.25" stiff paper card promoting Macy's 1940 Thanksgiving Parade. Card features full body image of Superman in classic hands-on-hips pose and also mentions WOR 710, which aired the Superman radio program. The Superman display was the largest balloon featured in the 1940 parade. Card is evenly aged and o/w Exc./NM. Franco Toscanini Collection.
