Item Description
4-5/8x6-5/8" card is March of Dimes premium offered in 1944. Card features nice full body image of Superman w/facsimile signature/inscription reading "Sincerely, Superman." This is variety w/blank postcard back w/lines provided for address (which have been neatly filled out in ink). Back bears postal mark. Typically seen promotional text thanking recipient for contribution to March Of Dimes in their fight against Infantile Paralysis on back. Card has scattered handling wear resulting in some creasing, including horizontal crease across center and crease at upper right (which has some minor staining). Back has strips of tape staining at left/right center margins (not affecting front's display. Left side has some slight separation of the card material. Colors remain bold and bright. VG/Fine. March of Dimes - Infantile Paralysis cards were also issued for Batman (item #1351) and Wonder Woman and all are rare.
