Item Description
11x17" pressbook for the original release of the 1934 comedy film starring Bing Crosby and Miriam Hopkins, notable for containing one of Crosby's first major performances, helping launch him to future stardom. Crosby is pictured on front cover w/guitar and pressbook is complete w/oversized telegram supplement insert. Pressbook is filled w/typical content, w/much attention to Hopkins' fashion as her character is forced to hide from gangsters by disguising herself as a male college student after witnessing a murder. Pressbook also has ads for sheet music from the film and various ad mats, etc. Pinch creases to spine w/scattered handling wear/dust soiling. Pressbook is complete and uncut. Fine overall. Scarce.
