Item Description
K.K. Publications/Whitman. This is not only the first Donald Duck comic book but the very first Walt Disney comic book. Same format as "Feature Books," 8.5x11.25" w/cardboard cover, 80 pages in bw featuring Sunday strip reprints from 1936-1937, including the first strips w/Donald's nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie. Classic cover art, front features Donald w/bubble pipe while back cover image is of him as an angel. Off-white to white pages. Scarce in any condition, we sold a CGC 6.0 copy in our March 2018 auction for a record $8,437.
