Item Description
14x16.25x45" tall wire rack for DC Comics. c. early 1940s. Rack was made w/ten slots designed to hold "Golden Age" comic books, four of which still have 2x4.25" tin litho name plates w/DC Comics comic book titles - "Flash Comics, Adventure Comics, Superman" and "Action Comics". Three wire slot tabs are detached and missing. Painted wire rack has some wear and scattered lt. oxidation. Tin litho comic title plates show scattered aging/wear and some minor scratches. VG overall. These early DC racks are very rare and highly desirable.
