Item Description
Original cardboard shipping box for "Lunch Kit Containing 1-1/2 Lb. Of Salt Water Taffy" distributed by Amster Merchandisers of Chicago, IL. c. 1954. Box shows some corner tip/edge wear and if VF overall. Box contains Adco Liberty Mfg. Corp. metal lunchbox featuring Mickey Mouse scene w/Pluto pulling "School Bus" cart carrying Donald Duck's nephews to school on front panel while back panel features Donald on picnic w/nephews, an angry bull about to charge upon seeing Donald waving red napkin. Embossed Mickey silvered metal attachment at top edge. Band features portraits of Mickey, Donald and Pluto as well as Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck and Goofy. Some lt. aging to metal handle/attachment, but o/w box shows slightest trace rim wear and remains bright, glossy and Exc. Old store stock. Scarce lunchbox w/rare shipping box.
