Item Description
9.25x16.5x2.25" deep box contains 1940 English set by the British Thomson-Houston Co., Ltd. Lid features large image of Mickey Mouse as Sorcerer's Apprentice, additional character images and the light set itself appears on lid and side panels. Same lid art also appears on the large flip-up insert. Box lid shows edge/corner tip wear and is evenly aged. Box bottom has 1.5" tear. Box is Fine overall. Insert has moderate creasing and is Fine. Complete amount of 12 plastic shades w/glass bulbs, wires and English style plug. Decals on shades feature nine different images from "Fantasia," including Mickey Mouse as Sorcerer's Apprentice, Centaurs/Centaurettes, ostrich, hippo, alligator and mushroom dancers, fairies, insects, etc. Decals have darkened w/age w/just a few small scattered flakes here and there. One mushroom/fairies shade has 1.25" hairline crack at top, o/w set is Fine/VF. See eight additional Mazda and Noma light sets, including rarities throughout the Disneyana section.
