Item Description
13" tall classic doll by Ideal Novelty & Toy Co., 1940. Movable head and upper body are composition while rest is wood jointed. The red fabric cape is original and has been reattached w/replacement nails, w/tow small holes at top corners. Cape has even fade and a few small spots of staining. Missing majority of belt/buckle decal. Wood parts show scattered lt. wear. Doll has had professional restoration to entire composition upper body and head, including the "S" chest logo, which is a perfect match to the original decal. Upper body now has exceptional appearance and looks as fresh as the day it was made. Nail holes in feet, stands well. Technically VG, but still a very nice example for display.
