Item Description
8-5/8x12-5/8" album w/24 pages for mounting set of 144 thin paper stock cards, each 2x3". Released in Spain in 1949 by FHER, w/no American equivalent. Cover features image of three oversized cards featuring full color images of Captain Marvel. Interior pages feature blue specialty art that goes along w/Spanish text story and compliments corresponding card. Title page feature full page specialty art of Captain Marvel flanked by Captain Marvel Jr. and Mary Marvel, who also appear intermittently on pages, along w/the wizard Shazam, Captain Marvel's alter ego Billy Batson, Dr. Sivana as well as his children Sivana Jr. and Georgia. Cover's title translates to "Feat Of Captain Marvel Album For Trading Cards." Inside front cover has pasted publication information as well as list of other titles by this company. Back cover has inkstamp that translates to "Free Gift" above small applied paper label noting original price. Covers have scattered age spotting and corner tip/margin/spine wear, including 1-7/8" split at bottom. Cover is VG. Pages remain clean and have lt. even aging. Fine. Rare and first we've offered in our 52 years. Even rarer as unused, as most were partially filled by children.
