Item Description
4x7.5x6" tall tin litho pull toy made by Chein, distributed by Nifty, 1920s. A similar Felix the Cat version of this toy was also made around the same time. Wheeled platform has three different images of Krazy Kat/Felix running on left/right sides. Platform has two-dimensional figure of Krazy Kat at back and pair of two-dimensional Ignatz Mouse figures at front. When pulled by string attached to front, articulated wheel axles turn, causing Krazy Kat and mice to move up and down, back and forth. This functions well. Underside also has bellows noisemaker (which no longer functions). Toy has some scattered wear in the form of small nicks/scratches, not overly distracting. Bright, clean and VF. Neat design. This Krazy Kat version is much scarcer than the Felix version of this classic toy.
