Item Description
Complete set of five buttons issued for the American "Captain Marvel Club." 7/8" dia. litho was first issue, from 1941. 1942 issue is a 1" dia. cello w/white bkg. behind Captain Marvel figure. PSA graded EX 5. 7/8" dia. cello from 1944 features same design as 1942, but has blue bkg. behind his figure instead of white. 7/8" dia. litho from 1946 features slightly different design w/white bkg. 1-1/8" litho was issued in 1948 and features classic image of Captain Marvel about to throw a warplane. All have "Shazam" magic word at bottom and/or top. Three litho buttons show some aging and lt. scattered wear and are Fine to VF while 1944 cello is Exc.
