Item Description
Large and impressive 86" wide wooden airplane propeller has hand-painted "Keep 'Em Flying And Keep The Japs Dying" dimensional text across propeller blades. Hub has 1942 stamped date and Sensenich Bros. (of Lititz, PA) maker decals on underside of propeller blades. Mounted on custom heavy metal stand to facilitate display as this particular item was once displayed in a Lancaster, PA airfield bar. Propeller blades have some minor separations to wood layers and scattered lt. wear to painted text. Decals on underside of blades show wear, w/most of one missing and moderate wear to other w/Sensenich name. Fine overall and could easily become the centerpiece of any World War II or anti-Axis collection. Due to size and/or weight of this item, shipping charges may be substantial. Please contact us w/any shipping inquiries prior to close of auction.
