Item Description
Lot of three 11x14" lobby cards. Offered here are two lobby cards from the 1954 theatrical release of "Superman In Scotland Yard," a compilation of three episodes of "The Adventures Of Superman" TV series starring George Reeves (in the title role as Superman/Clark Kent), Noel Neill (as Lois Lane) and Jack Larson (as Jimmy Olsen). One of five compilation movies created out of episodes of this classic TV series, they were apparently shown solely outside the US, and both one-sheet posters and lobby card sets were likely created for all five compilation features, w/one-sheets quite rare, and lobby cards even rarer. All lobby cards show Reeves as Clark Kent and he is joined by Neill and Larson in two. Both have staple holes at top center w/some margin wear along upper right. Could be matted for VF display. Lot also includes single card for "Superman In Exile" release. This shows heavy and obvious margin/corner tip wear and is Good/VG. First we've offered from any of these productions.
