Item Description
Lot of three 1940s items, all featuring an anti-Hitler theme featuring hanging. 23" long silk-screened felt pennant features gallows made from broken Nazi swastika and cringing Hitler image alongside "Phooey! On Der Master Race" text. Felt streamers intact w/a few tiny spots of staining at left but o/w Exc. Matched pair of 5-7/8x8-7/8" Masonite plaques, both featuring same image of Hitler hanging from noose w/slightly different silk-screened text. One reads "We Will Be Closed On The Day Hitler Is Hanged" while the other reads "Free Drinks On The House On The Day Hitler Is Hanged." "Drinks" plaque has some corner tip wear. VF to Exc. overall. First we've seen of any of these anti-Hitler items.
