Item Description
21x28" on thin paper signed in print "Mitchell Loeb" at lower right. Design juxtaposes scenes of "Bread Lines," "Homeless" and "Banks Closed" under "Hoover 1932" at left with those of "New Deal 1940" at right including "Higher Wages," "Low Rent Homes," and ""Social Security." Text below portrait reads "Reelect Roosevelt Vote American Labor Row C." Handling wear including horizontal folds, small edge losses and margin tears. Faint damp stain blending in background of text. Fine. These are highly prone to fading but this example is one of the few we have encountered that retains strong color. This impressive poster is among the most coveted FDR artifacts from any of his campaigns.
