Item Description
Pair of wooden figures by mid-century Danish designer Arne Basse. Made in Denmark, 1963. Wooden parts including bodies made of teak. Fred Flintstone has copyright symbol stamp and burnt "Arne Basse - Denmark" designations. Barney Rubble has foil sticker on underside of feet w/Hanna-Barbera copyright and Basse's name. Both have real fur hair and Fred's tunic is real fur while Barney's is tanned leather. Figures show some lt. aging but are o/w Exc. Interesting designs.
