Item Description
Complete set of 36 2.25x3.5" cards including all 18 from the first series issued in 1953 and all 18 from the second series issued in 1954. Issued in packages of Carnation Corn Flakes & Albers Oats (see previous item). A regional issue distributed on the West Coast. Fronts feature full color Walter Lantz characters while reverse includes illustrated instructions for drawing that particular character along with additional related specialty art, all in bw. Great assortment of both major and minor Lantz characters including Woody, Andy Panda, Buzz Buzzard, Oswald Rabbit, Chilly Willy, Omar Owl, Paddy Pelican, Cookie the Cuckoo, Snuffy Skunk, others. All 36 are PSA GEM MT 10. The current and all-time finest set in the PSA registry. Four cards in this set are the only PSA 10 example extant. A rare regional set to begin with, the fact that this is the only PSA "Perfect Ten" set currently in existence takes it to another level entirely. A must have for the serious non-sports card collector looking for the finest set available.
