Item Description
Matched pair of 7" tall figural solid painted plaster bookends depicting Dopey from "Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs" by LaMode Studios Inc. ©1938 WDE. Front base of each has incised "Dopey" name and incised Disney copyright on sides of base. Undersides of each complete w/original felt covering and aged LaMode labels. Both are evenly aged w/scattered wear and some minor professional touch-ups. One bookend shows more wear to nose w/.25x3/8" flake to top of nose. VG/Fine while other has small touch-up to back of head and is Fine overall. This company's products are more commonly found in lamp form and night lights; bookends are scarce.
