Item Description
5.5x15.75x3.25" deep box contains 15" tall marionette w/"Unitrol" one-piece controller by Peter Puppet Playthings Inc. © Bob Smith. c. 1948-1950. Box is evenly aged and has been reinforced. Some tape repairs to interior, including front left corner split and large tear and split to lid hinge. VG overall, but remains Fine for display. Wood/fabric/composition marionette has movable jaw and is complete w/separate plastic eyeglasses and watch w/metal chain (both of which are usually found missing), though chain is loose (comes w/original staple to hold in place) and is held in place w/straight pin. Composition head, hands and feet. Exc.
