Item Description
6x7x2" deep cardboard box has perforated top designed to be folded back for store display. Box is complete w/illustrated die-cut insert that holds two boxed "Hopalong Cassidy" films (No. 9 and 12 from a series made in Canada) and 3.5" wide hard plastic movie viewer (which contains film No. 5, "Heart Of The West" as advertised on lid). This is set No. 24 by B.H. Shapiro & Co. c. early 1950s. Box has some scattered edge/corner tip wear and lid has 1" and 2" corner tears. Lid has some loose perforations and box is evenly aged. Fine overall but still nice for display. Film boxes show some lt. wear but are VF overall w/Exc. contents. Viewer is NM. This is the actual example shown in "The Official Price Guide To Pop Culture Memorabilia" by Ted Hake and comes with COA.
