Item Description
"The Amazing Chan And the Chan Clan" was a Hanna-Barbera animated TV series originally broadcast on CBS from Sept. 9, 1972 to Dec. 30, 1972. Featuring detective Charlie Chan and his family, lot includes pair of high relief thin Vacuform plastic Halloween masks that have been completely hand-painted. Collegeville, 1973. Suzie Chan mask measures 8x9.25" and has "Chan Clan HBP - Suzie" label attached to interior. Scattered paint wear w/tiny edge cracks and 1" edge crack in hair. Henry Chan mask measures 8x9.5" and has "Henry Chan" label attached to interior which has "2-73" date. Scattered paint wear w/tiny edge cracks and .5" chip to tip of hair at bottom right. Both are Fine/VF overall. Both marked "Original" in pencil on inside, Collegeville's way of identifying it as a unique prototype. Unique pair.
