Item Description
4-3/8" dia. by 2" tall tin litho drum w/original twine carry cord. Unmarked but made in Spain, 1930s. Sides of drum feature three great images of Felix the Cat, including one of him running w/string of sausages as angry butcher chases him w/knifes. Additional human character appear on sides. Art differs slightly from larger drum (see following item). Trace of aging to paint but color remains deep and rich and drum remains glossy. Scattered rim wear w/some bare metal showing, but tin drumheads show no wear from use. Fine/VF overall. Scarce.
