Item Description
7.5x11-1/8x1-7/8" deep box w/lid featuring Silver Age illustration of Superman, showing inset image of his parents and his rocketship speeding towards Earth. Both "Superman" and "Batman" comic book title logos appear on lid, but no other Batman graphics are featured. Made in Spain for the Spanish market by Borras, ©1979 DC Comics, Inc. Box has some corner tip/edge wear and is Fine overall. Boxed set includes complete amount of 24 illustrated cardboard boxes, each side forming six different images which are depicted in the six included 7-1/8x10.5" glossy color sheets; four different Superman (all different from lid image) and two different Batman (including one featuring art that very closely resembles classic Neal Adams Batman image). These sheets have some lt. scattered handling wear and are VF overall. Puzzle blocks are Exc. Scarce foreign issue.
