Item Description
Pair of boxes w/illustrated lids contain tin litho friction cars made in Japan, 1950s. Yoshiya "Sparkling G-Men Car" is 6.75" long. Box shows obvious wear w/tears and loose (but included) lid side panel. Inked price on lid's main panel. Box bottom has corner split. Good/VG. Car has "GMen" name on roof and trunk w/"GMen Car" on front fenders. Painted tin gun mounted to hood. Few small indents to roof and aging to plated bumpers. Friction works but no longer sparks. Fine. Yoshi "Sparkling G-Man Car" is 7" long. Box moderate scattered creasing and some staple oxidation on lid. Box is Fine overall. Car has large "GMan" name on roof w/"GMan" shield design on trunk and small litho "G-Man" hood ornament. Sides have repeated shield design on doors and "Government Man" text on rear fenders. Friction sticks a bit and no longer sparks. Car shows scattered aging and is Fine/VF overall. From the collection of former FBI Agent Lin DeVecchio.
