Item Description
Original chipboard box w/illustrated lid contains 5" long painted tin car w/plated bumpers and front window frame. Made in Japan by Modern Toys, 1950s. Box has some oxidation to lid staples, resulting in some staining to surrounding areas, but box retains its shape and is Fine overall. Car has moderate aging to plated portions and rubber tires have hardened w/age. Front right tire has some stabilized stresslines and back friction tires have slightly flattened. Tires have trace oxidation around metal hubs. Trace oxidation to painted tin gun mounted on hood. Friction still works, producing siren noise as it goes. Fine overall. Scarce in original box.
