Item Description
14x40" daybill for the original Australian release of the 1939 Donald Duck cartoon "Sea Scouts" (released by RKO). Printed by Simmons Ltd. Litho. of Sydney, Australian poster features great full body image of Donald Duck (in his typical outfit) by Norman McMurray w/scene from the cartoon showing Donald in full admiral outfit, directing Huey, Dewey and Louie as the rowboat's crew at bottom. Poster has three horizontal folds as issued w/just the tiniest trace of color touch-ups along fold lines that is only noticeable upon close inspection. Pin holes at corners. Top margin has .5" strip of aging and corners have .5" tears and has been linen-mounted. Fine/VF overall, but still very nice for display and would make for wonderful framed display.
