Item Description
Pair of nice quality stuffed fabric dolls w/starched linen faces. Little Lulu stands 18" tall. Knickerbocker Toy Co., Inc. This doll was offered in the "Saturday Evening Post" magazine during the 1930s. Original fabric pattern dress, underwear/undershirt, felt hat w/ribbon and flocked feet have fabric stocking attached at top. Braided hair at sides of face and back bottom of head w/rest of hair being felt. Doll has some staining to body w/dark .5" spot of staining to front of dress. Legs and feet are moderately aged as is hat. Scattered traces of wear to face. Fine overall. Alvin stands 12.5" tall. Georgene Averill, 1940s. Original cotton shirt and coveralls w/buttons, starched linen hat w/button and yarn hair. Trace of wear to one cheek and some scattered aging to shirt, but o/w VF/Exc.
