Item Description
3.75x6.75x.75" deep die-cut cardboard box contains 1x1- 1/8" chrome luster case watch w/original leather band. New Haven Clock Co. Watch Division, ©1940 TLR Inc. Box is complete w/die-cut insert and both lid and insert feature same art image of The Lone Ranger riding Silver w/lasso forming his name. Box lid has corner tip wear w/.5" tear at left. Fine overall. Insert is rare fold-up style for store display and has just trace wear at die-cut portion but is Exc. overall. Dial features wonderful image of Lone Ranger galloping on Silver w/"Hi-Yo Silver" word balloon and his name at lower right. Dial is bright and clean w/just some pinpoint marks only visible on close inspection. Case retains much luster. Crystal has yellowed slightly w/age and bands show lt. wear. Watch winds but is not running and likely just needs a general cleaning. VF overall. Scarce as boxed.
