Item Description
14" tall stuffed vinyl body doll (w/stitched outer seams) w/soft rubber head and vinyl cape. Unmarked other than "Mighty Mouse - Terry Toon" on chest and Terrytoons, Inc. copyright on back of belt. 1940s. Doll has four small punctures to chest (largest being 1/16") and .25" split at belt buckle. Back has three 3/8" to 7/8" splits. These are hidden by cape, which has a few small holes/splits as well. Head has even moderate aging and some scattered paint wear to edges of ears and nose. Doll's body has some aging/dust soiling and is Fine overall. Not to be confused w/any of the plush Mighty Mouse dolls from the 1950s by Ideal. This is infinitely rarer than any of those and is among the rarest and most sought after Mighty Mouse items as well as being one of the first pieces of Mighty Mouse merchandise produced. First we've offered in our 52 years. This is the actual example shown in "The Official Price Guide To Pop Culture Memorabilia" by Ted Hake and comes with COA.
