Item Description
6x8.75" hardcover w/190 numbered story pages and features text stories plus bw art on nearly every page taken from some of Mickey Mouse's earliest cartoons including "Pioneer Days, The Birthday, The Castaway" and others. Also designed w/"Mickey Mouse Miniature Movies" flip book-style illustrations at bottom corner of each page. David McKay Co. ©1931 WDP. Book comes w/dust jacket, which show some scattered edge/corner tip wear and is Fine overall. Dust jacket is scarce. Complete w/very rare 2-5/8" wide slipcover advertising band that note "Mickey Mouse Miniature Movies" flipbook feature within book, featuring small image of dancing Minnie Mouse and book example image. Back features same image/text. Front has .75" edge tear but is o/w VF. Book itself is in superb, file copy quality NM condition. This is the nicest copy we've in our 52 years and is possibly the nicest copy in existence. A must have for Disney book collectors. This is the actual example shown in "The Official Price Guide To Disney Collectibles" by Ted Hake and comes with COA.
