Item Description
Elaborate 4.5x11" cardstock folder opens to 9x11" and has built-in metal spinner and "Fantasia" gameboard by Economy Novelty & Printing Co. of New York City and issued to RKO theatergoers attending the 1942 re-release of Disney's classic 1940 animated musical feature. Folder features illustrations of various "Fantasia" characters, including Mickey Mouse as The Sorcerer's Apprentice, Mlle. Upanova ostrich ballerina as well as hippo and elephant dancers, mushroom dancers, centaurette and dinosaurs. Back has advertisement for "Valley Of The Sun" as well as additional "Fantasia" promotional text and RKO Proctor's theater imprint. Evenly aged w/some moisture staining at bottom. Fine overall. Very rare and first we've seen in our 52 years.
