Item Description
"Betty Boop In Snow White" softcover large format BLB is Whitman No. 1119, ©1934. Story by Wallace West (adapted from the 1933 Max Fleischer Talkartoon). While the BLB features images based on the 1933 cartoon, story differs dramatically from its source material. Also produced as a hardcover, this softcover version being rare. Cover has some scattered staining and creasing w/edge wear along spine, which has some handling creases. Right edges of pages have 1" to 1.75" long area of staining and book is VG overall. "Tim McCoy In Beyond The Law" is Five Star Library softcover w/158 bw pages w/numerous photos and story based on Columbia film. ©1934 Engel-Van Wiseman. Inside front page has inkstamp noting this was a Tootsie Rolls premium (stamp is the shape of a Tootsie Roll). Cover shows moderate edge/corner tip wear, w/1" sliver off lower right corner of front cover. Pages have evenly aged to lt. tan in color. VG overall. Both are rare according to "Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide."
