7". Silk. Engraver "R. M. Graw Philad." in lower margin. Design features a detailed portrait of Polk on monument at center w/base bearing names "Andrew Jackson/Martin Van Buren." Text in banner above/below portrait reads "Jas. K. Polk For Pres./Geo. M. Dallas For Vice President." Perched eagle and "Texas" lone star comprise graphic above. Two horizontal folds just above/below the design. Otherwise only minor handling wear. Exc. w/full sheen. A choice example of this desirable ribbon.
