Item Description
25.5x26.75" mat w/21.5x22.5" opening. Cotton textile has additional 6.5" and 8.5" section of fabric tucked behind left and bottom margins. Features water color image of donkey pulling a cart w/Cleveland driving, Thurman w/a bag of letters seated behind and a mustached dog (Stevenson?) in tow. The motley trio has reached a large impasse labeled "Cleveland's Letters 1884" and "Thurman's Speech 1884." Two each vertical and horizontal folds and scattered damp staining throughout. VG. Professionally matted and ready to frame.
