Item Description
12x15.75" published by Currier & Ives. Hand colored lithograph w/slogan "Liberty And Union" at top and cornucopia between portraits. Damp staining affecting margins and age toning throughout. A .25" hole in margin at top left w/older tape repair on reverse. Bottom left corner has been re-attached w/archival tape on reverse. Good. Ample borders and strong color. This is the last in the famed series that covered elections from 1844-1876 and is among the rarest. Print has been removed from frame and will be shipped out of frame. The frame will be shipped without glass. A special opportunity for the advanced collector to obtain this set-stopping rarity.
