Item Description
4x7x.75" cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains one of three different Bugs Bunny watches produced for sale by Rexall Drug stores, this is the 1.25x1.5" silver luster metal case variety by New Haven Clock & Watch Co. 1951. Comes w/guarantee/instruction folder. Variety w/standard hands. Box lid sides have "Rexall" logo and Warner Bros. copyright appears on lid, illustrated insert and watch dial. Box bottom has w/easel back for standee store display. Box shows moderate edge/corner tip wear w/tape repair to lid's right corner splits. Lid's main panel shows all over tiny age spots. Insert has some rippling and 1/8" and .5" tears at die-cut slots for watch. Underside of box has grease pencil price. Box is VG/Fine. Watch has original leather band w/metal accents, which shows little to no wear. Dial remains bright and clean and case retains near full luster. Crystal has yellowed slightly w/age. Running but hands no longer glow, w/trace oxidation to one hand, only noticeable under magnification. Watch o/w displays Exc. Rare w/box.
